Preserving the existing trees on the site was core to this design for Whitehorse City Council.

Clutter was reduced, and the carpark reconfigured to allow considerably more space for pedestrians. A geometric paving pattern subtly reflects the stepped frontages of the shops.

Custom designed planter boxes encapsulate the idea of folding in and out to protect the existing trees and also create new seating.
