During the lockdowns Melbourne experienced in 2021, Maroondah City Council and Heathmont Historical Society commissioned local artists to lift our streetscapes and bring joy to people of the area. 

Artwork was installed on a Signal Box at East Ringwood, and later chosen to be distributed on postcards to the community as part of the 'Be Kind Maroondah' project by Arts in Maroondah. 

Artwork on bollards at Heathmont not only beautify infrastructure, but also tell the story of the area with reference to the orchards which once covered the land.
